SOCIAL MEDIA IS A THING OF THE PAST

I’m blocked from twitter for about 11 hours and even though I have nothing meaningful to say, I’m still writing this article out of pure spite.

I think every American, and global citizen should learn to build their own website if given the opportunity. We don’t need a middle man to connect to each other.

Let’s share ideas without agreeing to some convoluted and ever changing terms. Let’s stop giving these socialist fascist authoritarian pigs our data, business and thoughts.

That’s just a thought.

I meet people all the time, as I’m sure you do. If we all had websites outside these suffocating censored bubbles, sharing is as easy as taking one down as you would a phone number.

Do you remember blog rolls? You can call out and showcase others sites on yours with a list of links. Define your tribe. No one is a follower but we all connect.

Thats the first step. I think eventually a private home server should be as common as a microwave. Everyone stores their own data, and does what they will.

Anyway, I say goodbye to the twitters and the instagrams and the facebooks. I think most of us have had enough, and we don’t need you.
